Deep yoga stretches, inversions, Aircat Aerial Yoga technique, strength training, cardio, and the best part....Swinging, Floating Savasana at the end!
You MUST RESERVE a HAMMOCK IN ADVANCE by paying below. First come First served basis.
Please arrive early to set hammock height and do paperwork if you are new! Latecomers will not be admitted!

Applicants must have teaching experience & knowledge in yoga, Pilates, Gyrotonic (r) , aerial arts, gymnastics, dance, fitness, pole dancing or other physical discipline. Application is now required for our course. Please email for application or download from below.
This is an intensive weekend training. It will be fast paced.
You will learn:
beginning level aerial yoga techniques
including Sun Salutations, hip openers, deep stretches, forward and back inversions, strength & conditioning, cardiovascular exercises, heart openers, back bends and stretches, deep relaxation techniques
opening warm-up sequences on the Aircat Aerial yoga hammock
how to sequence a class
beginning level tricks & flips
the physics of the Aircat Aerial Yoga hammock
safe rigging techniques
spotting techniques
what to watch for with clients of varying abilities
Inversions
Restorative postures & poses
Basic aerial partner yoga
SCHEDULE: *may vary slightly depending on studio availability for a particular weekend, but will start no earlier than 9am on Friday and end no later than 5pm on Sunday*
Friday 9a-5p with meal breaks each day
Saturday 11a-7p
Sunday 9a-4p Professional Photo Shoot 4p-630p *additional fee*
$695 includes Aircat Aerial Yoga Teacher Training Manual & access to the videos online on our closed FaceBook group. You must have a Facebook account to access the videos. 20 hours of instruction, lunch, snacks & water. We provide all equipment needed for the training, including aerial yoga hammock (only for the training, not for you to take home. Aircat Aerial Yoga hammocks are purchased separately) and yoga mat.

Please note that we offer a “Certificate of Completion” upon meeting the requirements. We are not certified by any governing body and therefore cannot give you, or call our training a “Certification” course. My goal is to give you the knowledge and information to safely and successfully offer aerial yoga classes as part of your program.

Payment Policy:
$200 deposit is due upon registration to hold your spot in the course. Remaining balance is due 30 days prior to the training. Please note that the training is in high demand and we will reserve a space for you ONLY upon receipt of your $200 deposit and accepted application.
Refund/Cancellation schedule:
before 30 days prior - full refund of amount paid less $100 administration fee.
8-29 days prior - Refund of any amount paid less a $200 cancellation fee
within 7 days prior - Refund of any amount paid less a $250 cancellation fee

Instructor Bio:
Cathy Gauch
Cathy has been an aerial performer, teacher, coach and producer for over 20 years. She has performed around the world in production stage shows, corporate events, galas and benefits. She teaches aerial arts to children and adults and has started numerous circus camps and aerial programs.
Aircat Aerial Yoga began development in early 2009. She’s successfully used aerial yoga in her recovery from injuries she sustained in a car accident later that year. She continues to develop the program, offering classes, workshops and teacher trainings at the Boulder Circus Center.
Instructor Bio:
Lani Gordon
Lani Gordon is an inspired and dedicated performer, and teacher in a variety of different arts. Since as far back as she can remember Lani has been passionate about the art of movement. She has trained in yoga, aerial yoga, dance, fire dance, aerial acrobatics, and partner acrobatics. She has performed around the country with a variety of companies and musicians including, Quixotic Fusion, Cirque USA, The String Cheese Incident, Cosmic Fire, Emancipator, and Future Simple Project. One of her favorite things in life is sharing these passions with others. In the last three years she has been teaching many forms of movement art to a vast variety of people around the country. She currently teaches for the Quixotic School of Performing art, Aircat Aerial and Aircat Aerial Yoga. With a shared passion in holistic medicine and education in nutrition, massage and yoga Lani’s combined knowledge of movement art and health offer a unique experience in each of her classes and performances. Lani’s goal is to bring joy into other’s lives through the exploration of what we are capable of in our bodies. She strives to make dreams a reality and help others to discover that anything is possible.
We ARE available to TRAVEL to your studio to teach Aircat Aerial Yoga Teacher Trainings & classes, as well as Aerial Fabric, trapeze, and hoop. Please email us for details!
